A local coffee shop is among approximately 80 businesses that will be forced to relocate as the Interstate 26 Connector project moves forward, according to WLOS. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) received federal approval for the project.
Veronica Carlson, the owner of Kava X Coffee, told WLOS that she received an email informing her that she must relocate by April 24 as plans progress on the northern section of the I-26 Connector.
