After unseasonably warm temperatures in early April, local vineyards, orchards, and farms are bracing for a late frost that threatens to damage budding plants. Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing tonight and into early tomorrow morning, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a frost advisory for Buncombe County and much of Western North Carolina, effective from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday.
