The North Henderson girls basketball team is headed to the NCHSAA 2A state championship after Saturday night's 63-43 victory over Madison in the 2A West Regional final at Asheville High School, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times. The No. 1 seed Knights (28-2) dominated the game, leading by as many as 28 points in the second half. The win marks their second consecutive regional title and eighth appearance in the state final four in program history.
